Bryson Farm Flora "Little May"

DOB 3/13/2021

Carys and her sweet daughter, Little May, came to us together. We have fallen in love with both of them. Carys is wonderful to milk and she is affectionate and wise. She has quickly become our herd queen.

This little one has been the greatest gift. She is the gentlest of souls yet independent and strong. She can often be found lounging under the trees snuggled up with the emus. She loves to be held and she has found the most special place in our hearts. Her mother is Carys.

Newborns

We are happy to report the first birth at The Little White Farmhouse on December 21, 2024! Our lovely doe, Carys, had 3 little bucks that we have named Caesar, Auggie, and Gus. We have chosen to have them remain here at the farm as their forever homes.

Brindy

Brindy is a miniature Scottish Highland heifer born on September 17, 2024. Her mother was a brindle and her father was an ebony black but she is showing signs of brindle coloring like her mom.

All three of these beautiful and kind hearted animals came to us from the wonderful Owen's family at Cash Co Farm in Anderson, SC. Millie has quickly attached herself to Mark as her dad and I am snuggling up to Boujee and Brindy every chance that I get. We love our cows!

Abby
Kevin
Cleo
Antony

Abby is our flock queen and she is so incredibly smart. She has taught the others how to be real wild birds and she is a caring leader to all. Emus mate for life and she is mated to Kevin.

Kevin and Abby are the same age and we received them from an exotic bird farm in Charlotte, NC. We are expecting them to lay their first eggs in Spring of 2026. Emus lay at 16-18 months of age and the male is the one to sit on the nest.

Both Cleo and Antony came to us from Pennsylvania. They are rare blonde emus with blue eyes. Emus will grow to up to 6' tall and weigh between 110-125 lbs. The females are larger than the males.

Antony we hope will mate with Cleo and have the rarest of all colors, a pure white emu. Two blonde emus bred together have a 25% chance of producing a white emu which is caused by leucism, a partial lack of melanin.
